One of my favorite memories from childhood is biking to Elm Creek Park on a perfect Minnesota summer day. The City of Maple Grove has always had a profound destination in my life which is why my wife, Jennifer, and I became permanent residents in 2007 when we married. We center our activities around our vast network of parks and trails, community events, local shopping, and dining. Faith plays a vital role in our home, on Sundays we are found worshiping at Revive Church in Brooklyn Park.

We are family who invests in the next generation of leaders by teaching social studies and supporting the vast technology needs.  And because I understand that no one person is alike, I believe in creatively finding solutions to help everyone succeed which is why I’m passionate about partnering Find my Fidget which provides neurodiversity resources for focus and regulating school and life.

We spend our weekends cheering for our U of M Gopher Women's Gymnastics team and support these excellent athletes as booster club members. It is inspiring to see how this team supports each other and lifts each other up. I value offering opportunities in our city to bring people together as it contributes to a sense of belonging that enhances our quality of life.

As liaison for Roseville Area Schools Insurance Advisory Committee, I strive to prioritize personalized affordable health care. As former President of our Cedar Ponds Condominiums, I take with me an emphasis of listening and collaboration to improve safety and quality, and optimize goals within budget.

Serving in our community, schools, and on our condominium board making positive differences is a motivator, and I will bring these skills to serve as your next councilmember.

I would be honored to earn your vote and apply these principles of working together and building Maple Grove responsibility.
